Whisky Nicartrie Islay

Nicartrie, Blend whisky, islay cask finished, smoked edition, c'est le parfait équilibre entre la puissance de la tourbe écossaise et la subtilité d'un whisky à la française." Ce whisky offre une expérience sensorielle riche et complexe. À la première approche, des notes de tourbe se dévoilent avec subtilité, offrant des arômes terreux et végétaux, rappelant parfois le sol humide et les bruyères caractéristiques de la région d'Islay. Cette tourbe est légèrement fumée et s'entrelace harmonieusement avec les autres saveurs. En bouche, on ressent une texture veloutée, avec des notes de tourbe persistantes qui évoluent vers des touches de fruits mûrs, de miel ou même de chocolat noir. La finale est longue et chaleureuse, laissant une impression agréablement fumée qui perdure délicatement. Des dépôts naturels ou des particules de charbon peuvent être présents dans la bouteille car le whisky n'est pas filtré à froid avant sa mise en bouteille.

Nicartrie, Blend whisky, islay cask finished, smoked edition, it's the perfect balance between the power of Scottish peat and the subtlety of a French-style whisky." A FRIENDSHIP

A COMMON PASSION

We're Benjamin and Quentin, two childhood friends who grew up in Les Sables d'Olonne, in western France. Despite our very different backgrounds, our friendship has remained strong, fueled by shared interests. Our mutual passions led to the creation of the Distillerie des Achards, an initiative aimed at preserving local know-how and craftsmanship through the production of spirits in Vendée.

Since being set up, the distillery has produced gins, pastis, vodka and rhum. We still have a long way to go, and new spirits see the lights every year.
